Is it time for a personal reboot?

Most of us live our lives in a state of being 'always on' where our minds are rarely in the same place as our bodies!

In fact, we've become used to the sensation of our minds having multiple 'screens' left open and running continually like a non stop radio station in our heads.

Living like this means we are rarely fully present to where we are and who we are with.

As a result we end up feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, stressed or simply numb to the joys of life.

My own experience of overwhelm and burn out led me to explore how mindfulness practice might help.

Over the last 9 years I've discovered how living mindfully can support us to stay grounded, and make space in our overcrowded minds, so that we can reconnect with what really matters in our lives.

Is it time for you to step off the well-worn path of constant busyness to cultivate more stability, calm and joy in your world?

If so I'd love to hear from you.

From every acorn....

The seed of mindfulness exists in all of us but most of us forget to water it due to busy lives and endless distractions.

The good news is that learning to cultivate our innate capability to be mindful does not need to be complicated or take hours out of our day.

It is now estimated that 15-16% of adults in the UK have tried Mindfulness practice, and its  integration within the NHS, schools, and workplaces is likely to fuel its adoption further.

Originating from the 2,500 year old Buddhist tradition Mindfulness practice is an extremely simple and yet powerful tool for positive personal transformation.

As humans we all suffer and yet at the same time we all have the potential to cultivate more calm, contentment and peace in our lives.

About Mindfulness

Sam Barton - Wellness coach & mindfulness trainer

Realistically most of us don't have endless spare time to sit on a cushion and meditate so I try to help people find ways to weave mindfulness into day to day life rather than making it something else to add to the already-too-long 'to do' lists.

I'm aware, from my own experience, that learning to practice mindfulness is not always comfortable or easy. That’s why, when you work with me, I will always offer a light hearted, down to earth and supportive energy to help you feel at ease.
